Are LightDims ® permanent?

No, you can peel LightDims off when ever you feel like it. The good news is that LightDims will most likely stick to your electronics for years if you desire and Lightdims will not leave any sticky residue like tape.
Are LightDims ® easy to peel off their plastic backing?

Yes.
Are LightDims ® refundable?

Yes, if in your heart of hearts you feel you did not get what you paid for we will gladly refund your money, please contact us by clicking on this link explaining your complaint, just provide your order #, address name and telephone number and we will refund your payment. If your product was damaged in transit we will send you out a new one as an alternative to a refund if you desire. Please email support.
Can I purchase LightDims ® in a local retail store?

Can I layer or double up one on top of another to get an even darker effect?

Yes, however LightDims were carefully designed to block just the right amount of light on the majority of LED's in your electronics.

Can I pay by Check?

Yes you can purchase LightDims with a check, in fact we encourage it because it avoids having to pay PayPal their extremely large processing fee. Simply mail a check to our address found here contact page In the memo area of the check list the items you want to purchase and how many of each. If you include a self addressed, stamped, Number !0 size envelope you do not need to include the 0.99 cent processing and shipping fee. Make sure the check amount is identical to the price found on our websites add to cart drop down menu.

Do LightDims ® help to limit radiation from LED's?

Yes. Studies show that low amounts of radiation are emitted from LED's This is a fact. The human eye is extremely sensitive to radiation. At night your pupil is dilated to allow more light in. This dilation of the pupil makes the sensitive parts of your eye extremely susceptible to damage from radiation. It is likely you are surrounded by at least a few radiation emitting LED's during this vulnerable time at night.
Do Light Dims ® fit most LED's?

Yes.
Do LightDims ® work underwater?

As long as the surface you are applying the dim cover to is CLEAN, FLAT, and DRY before you apply it, chances are that when water is applied the dims will continue to stick to the LED even underwater. We tested Lightdims on the inside of a fish-tank and then gently filled the fish-tank with water. They have yet to come off and are working properly.
Do you charge Tax?

Only for California customers as required by law. Some countrys are charged an additional small tax for shipping costs and international Paypal Fees.

How long will it take to receive my LightDims ® in the mail?

When you add priority shipping and processing to your cart your packages of LightDims are shipped within 24 hours. Although most orders arrive in 3 to 4 days in the US with Priority Shipping and Processing, please allow 5-7 days. If you did not add priority Shipping and processing for only 00.25 cents extra, please allow up to 3 weeks for delivery. If you ordered via check it could take 3 to 4 weeks to receive your LightDims.
How much light do the original strength LightDims ® block?

Original Strength LightDims block approximately 80% of light but unfortunately we cant say for sure because the answer to this question is dependent on the light output of the LED its blocking. Not all LEDs emit the same amount of light, therefore some LightDims may appear darker from one LED to the next.
How much light do Black Out Edition LightDims ® block?

100% of light for painful LEDs you never want to see again.
How much Light Do LightDims Dim ® ?

We can not give an exact number because all electronics emit varying degrees of light but if we had to give a range, Original Strength LightDims Dim 50-80%. Black out Edition LightDims Dim 100%

Why were Lightdims ® invented?

Jason Michael Hampton Invented LightDims aka Light Dims out of necessity because of the side effects he experienced from Lasik Eye Surgery. Jason also worked in dark edit bays and offices around large amounts of electronics. Over the years Jason Hampton realized that ubiquitously, LED's were in all homes and offices causing people pain and irritation or loss of sleep just as he had experienced. Jason searched for a solution that was both practical and aesthetically pleasing but after searching he realized he would have to create this product himself because it did not exist yet.
